Overview
International Thespian Society (Troupe 8172): The International Thespian Society is the only theatre honor society for middle and high school students in the United States. Affiliation brings credibility and distinction to students, theatre programs, and schools. At DCHS, our thespian troupe helps theatre-minded students develop their skills as well as their community. Membership recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement by celebrating the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond those of their school; including field trips and annual participation in the Georgia Thespian Conference in Columbus, Georgia, which is one of the world's largest gathering of inducted Thespians.
